“Use what you have, give what you can and learn to encash that.” Freelancing is not the name of just one fundamentally similar field. It is a plethora of global talents that can each beyond immediate vicinity. There is not only one service instead there are assortments to choose from. Being a freelancer means that you can specialize in more than one job or retain one type of job that will take you places. Anything that can be delivered on the internet and is done independently can qualify for freelancing.

In a freelance career you work as you like. Meaning you accept a gig with your comfort. So if you need to save up extra you can accept multiple projects depending on what you want to earn. Or you can take one moderately paying payment if that will satisfy you.

Freelance does not mean free it means freedom. Meaning while you will provide intangible facilities independently, you do not have to do it without reward. In fact money talks louder than words, right. There are a number of activities online that will give you high salaries with independence from within the comfort of your home. These opportunities are you golden egg laying goose.

1) Web Developers

 One of the highest paying jobs in freelancing is web development. In fact anything that is interwoven with coding and technology is bound to bring in loads of cash. Web Developers are required to make website according to client needs and involve themselves with its functionality. They are required to do programming and repair work for the clients too. You do not need high qualifications for it but you should know what you are doing. Having relevant educational qualifications and certificates however will substantially increase the chances of better payments.

2) Graphic Designers

Looking for big salaries and sweet paychecks, graphic designing is perfect to you. Graphic Designing is one of the highest paying jobs when it comes to freelancing. As a graphic designer you will be expected to create amazing visuals concepts that will be used in a variety of ways like on cards, brochures etc. Just like in web development you do not need to have academic qualifications to get paid in Graphic Designing. You however must have artistic skills and knowledge of IT. You are also expected to know photo editing software like Photoshop. If you can do that then get ready to buy that car you wanted, you are about get rich.

3) Transcribers  

Transcribing is converting speech into written or typed document. This is a very much needed service in legal departments and in freelancing a high salary opportunity. Your greatest requirement for this job is a superhuman typing speed. Not really if you can type more than 50 words correctly in 1 minute than you have the needed qualification. Corporate, Legal Services and medical services are always looking for transcribers. You will be sent recorded documents that you will need to convert into text. If you find yourself ready to type that Transcribing is waiting for you.

4) Professor

Surprised, yes professors can be freelancers too. Online education services have expanded meaning there is an increased requirement of people who can teach on virtual platforms. Most of the highly academically educated teachers prefer to take an offline faculty life which leaves the virtual department for independent teachers. However you must have an MA in whatever subject you are looking to teach. You will be required to take online classes, make notes, take tests, create assignments and most of it will be done online. So if you were looking for a high paying teaching gig, you might want to consider freelance teaching.

5) Technical Writer  

While a writer uses their creativity and imagination to come up with what they write, technical writers are research based. They are required to conduct research on whatever given topics and then create journals, documents, articles and anything along that line. If must have some basic writing experience to qualify for the job. You will also need to meddle with a variety of jobs, SEO writing, content writing etc. based on client requirement. If you have what it takes, then congratulations you have landed one of the most popular freelancing careers.  

6) Video Editor

Can you run video editing software with the ease of an expert? Then become a video editing freelancer and bring in the good money. This requires no academic qualification only the sheer talent of the doer. All you have to do is know the most popular editing software and you are ready to work.  

7) Copywriter

Copywriting is the act of creating documents for advertising or marketing. A copywriter is required to write emails, articles, eBooks and newsletters. They are expected to write good SEO optimized documents that can be sued for product promotion. No prior qualification is required for this job, only excellent typing and writing skills. The more experience you have the more you will get paid.

8) Accountant

Accountants are mainly associated with ledger maintenance activities. In freelance accounting you will be required to maintain the financial records of your client.  Making balance sheets and P&L statements and generating monetary reports are some of the general duties that a freelance accountant has to perform. To qualify for a position you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and anything beyond then will boost your chances of better clients.

9) PR Managers

Public representatives maintain the overall brand image of the client. They make sure that press releases are appropriate, any image disasters are handled and customers see the product in the most relevant light. They all meddle in social media marketing. With PR manager experience is given more importance than qualification.

10) Administrative Support

A lot of companies and corporate look for extra helping hands to help them manage their extra administrative activities. The work expected is different for every company. Some general duties include making reports, responding to emails, transcribing taking phone calls etc. If you have basic corporate knowledge or have worked corporate before then you will stand a benefit in this job.
